"Georgius's Flowers Bouquet" is a homage to the Dutch flower painter Georgius van Os (1782-1861). The enchanting floral ornament was created using a digital collage from his painting "Allegory of Spring" (1817) in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. As a background you can discover a simple ornament from Elke's photographs of the copper plates of the ship's hull of the historic frigate Jylland (1860) in Ebeltoft, Denmark. If you look closely, you can see both the copper nails of the planking and the artist's brushstrokes on the wallpaper.
