The name CARPET LOVE for Elke's carpet collection was found very quickly: "I just love carpets! As a child, I was fascinated by the beautiful, unique oriental carpet - the masterpiece of a carpet artist - in our living room. I was very easily drawn into the ornamental world of fantasy animals, which ended in floral tendrils and branches. Realism and fantasy combined in the ornament. A kind of meditative world that you can immerse yourself in as soon as you look at it. Underlined by a harmonious color scheme from the variety of plant colors."
Der Name CARPET LOVE für Elkes Teppichkollektion war sehr schnell gefunden: "Ich liebe einfach Teppiche! Als Kind hat mich bereits der wunderschöne, einzigartige Orientteppich - das Meisterstück eines Teppichkünstlers - in unsrem Wohnzimmer fasziniert. Ganz leicht wurde ich in die ornamentale Welt aus Fantasietieren, die in floralen Ranken und Verzweigungen endeten, hineingezogen. Realismus und Fantasie im Ornament verbunden. Eine Art meditative Welt, in die man sofort beim Betrachten eintauchen kann. Unterstrichen durch eine harmonische Farbgebung aus der Vielfalt von Pflanzenfarben."
